Focus and Scope

The Journal of Didactic Mathematics is a scientific journal dedicated to the study of mathematics education, mathematical didactics, mathematics learning, and school mathematics. The journal’s scope encompasses the following areas:

  1. Mathematics learning for elementary, secondary, and college students
  2. Didactic mathematics, didactic transposition, and the theory of didactic situations
  3. The development of mathematics learning
  4. Creative and innovative mathematics learning through the application of learning models
  5. Theoretical study and engineering of ideas related to the development of mathematics learning
  6. School mathematics, including pre-algebra, algebra, calculus, and other advanced courses

Peer Review Process

Every journal manuscript included in the Journal of Didactic Mathematics will first be examined by the editor, then reviewed by the reviewer. The review process uses Double-Blind Peer Review. The review process requires at least 4 weeks.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Author Fees

The journal charges the following author fees:

Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)

Article Publication: 500,000.00 (IDR) for Indonesian writers.

Article Processing Charge (APC) for international authors as first author: USD 0.00 or the process and publication are free.

Authors are required to pay an Article Processing Fee (APC) as part of the publication process. Payment of these fees may only be made after receiving a bill and invoice from the editor.

Withdrawal of Manuscripts

The author is prohibited from withdrawing submitted manuscripts because such an action would constitute a waste of valuable resources that editors and referees have invested a significant amount of time processing submitted manuscripts and the publisher’s investment.

In the event that an author still requests the withdrawal of their manuscript during the peer-reviewing process, they will be subject to a withdrawal penalty of 300,000.00 (IDR) per manuscript. However, it is unethical to withdraw a submitted manuscript from one journal if it has been accepted for publication in another journal.

If a manuscript is withdrawn after it has been accepted for publication, the author will be liable to pay a withdrawal penalty of 500,000.00 (IDR) per manuscript. Withdrawal of the manuscript is only permitted after the publisher has fully remitted the withdrawal penalty. If the author refuses to pay the penalty, their affiliation and any previously published articles will be blacklisted from publication in this journal. These previously published articles will also be removed from our online system.
